November is National Adoption month
We as Catholics step forward in supporting adoptions through the loving command “to care for widows and orphans.” (James 1:27) In celebration of the gift of adoption the Archdiocesan office in collaboration with various parishes will be hosting special Adoption Masses. The regular weekend Mass will be followed by light refreshments and information about adoption as well as an opportunity to talk with adoptive families. All families should discern if adoption is right for them. Is adopting something you have been thinking about? Come to one of our Masses and find out.
This year’s Adoption Mass host parishes and times are: November 22: Divine Mercy in Faribault – 4:00 p.m. Vigil Mass, Maternity of Mary in St. Paul 4:30 p.m. Vigil Mass, St. Timothy in Maple Lake 4:30 p.m. Vigil Mass, St. John Neumann in Eagan 5:00 p.m. Vigil Mass, Our Lady of Grace in Edina 5:15 p.m. Vigil Mass.
